We have a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Passenger Assistant to join our Healthcare transportation team based in North Somerset.
We have expanded our community service support and created a new division within our established patient transport business. We deliver care in the community by transporting children with Special Educational and Disability Needs (SEND) to and from healthcare facilities, including schools, learning hubs, and specialist education centres.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist children with special educational needs during transport to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Drive carefully and considerately to transport children to and from their education using our vehicles.
* Support children in boarding and alighting, providing physical assistance if needed.
* Maintain a calm environment during transport, addressing behavioral or emotional needs.
* Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school staff regarding transportation.
* Follow all safety protocols, including seat belts and seating arrangements.
* Be familiar with safeguarding policies.
* Report incidents or concerns promptly to your line Manager/Operations Manager.
* Help maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Hours
* Part-time, up to 20 hours per week.
* Example shifts: 07:45-09:45 and 15:15-17:15 (may vary).
* Monday – Friday, term time only.
* AM and/or PM shifts available.
