About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team in Manchester, working on a variety of construction and glazing projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and supporting project delivery from design through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for glazing, faades, and construction projects.
* Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create accurate fabrication details.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings meet specifications.
* Amend and update designs based on client feedback and project changes.
* Maintain drawing registers and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CAD Technician within construction, glazing, faades, or a related field.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or other CAD software desirable).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
* Good understanding of construction and glazing processes.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
