About the Role
1. Based at Bideford Recycling Centre
2. £12.00 per hour
3. 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - with potential of permanency
4. Working days are Sunday to Thursday, Friday and Saturday rest days.
5. Hours are : Winter (October to March) weekdays 08:45 - 16:45, weekends 09:45 - 16:45.
6. Summer (April to September) weekdays 08:45 - 17:15, weekends 09:45 - 18:15
What will I be doing?
You will advise and assist the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials deposited in the sites.
No previous experience required, however a good level of customer service is a must,
This will involve:
7. Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
8. Providing excellent levels of customer service
9. Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
10. Maintain a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
11. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.

12. A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
