Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Engineer role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will:
* Propose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across power switching and monitoring systems
* Work closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentation
* Provide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects.
* Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.
* Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover
* Prepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for power switching and monitoring products
* Identify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.
* Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering
* Knowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)
* Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable).
