Title: FP&A analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced organization. This role is critical in supporting both the Head of FP&A and the Senior Finance Business Partners, providing robust financial analysis, reporting, and insights that enable strategic decision-making and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with business acumen, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Tracking: Support preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitor KPIs and financial metrics, and provide insights to ensure alignment with company objectives and timely corrective actions.
• Financial Analysis & Business Partnering: Conduct variance reviews, trend analysis, and ROI assessments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions and business cases.
• Modeling & Scenario Planning: Build and maintain financial models and perform scenario analyses to evaluate business decisions, investment opportunities, and market conditions.
• Reporting & Insights: Prepare accurate, timely management reports and dashboards, delivering clear, actionable insights to leadership for operational and strategic planning.
• Decision Support: Combine data-driven analysis with strategic thinking to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance overall business performance.
• Special Projects: Contribute to high-priority initiatives such as cost cap optimization strategies, capital efficiency programs, and process improvements.
• FIA Financial Regulations Support: Conduct analysis connected to FIA Formula 1 Financial Regulations—including Cost Cap–related financial controls and coding accuracy—providing exposure to how Finance operates within a regulated Formula 1 environment.
• Financial Reporting & Audit Support: Provide targeted support to the Financial Reporting team by preparing supporting schedules, reconciliations, and audit ready documentation
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in all deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) or MBA preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
