We’re currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistants to join one of our SEMH secondary schools in Salford. This is a rewarding role where your ability to build trust, support emotional regulation, and promote positive behaviour will have a lasting impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the classroom team to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Building strong, positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and trust.
* Providing tailored 1:1 support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Implementing effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies with a calm and empathetic approach.
* Upholding safeguarding standards to ensure the wellbeing of all students.

* Previous experience working with young people with SEMH or SEN needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
* A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Two years of employment references.
* Safeguarding training (provided by us).
