The role
requires regular travel using company vehicles, majority of work is in the South or London with occasional trips to Liverpool, Newcastle, Dublin and in the future possibly abroad too
Skills & experience required:
1. Switchgear assembly, service and repair experience
2. Proven background working with switchgear, control panels, busbars, or similar
3. Ability to read wiring schematics & engineering diagrams
4. Full and clean UK driving licence
5. Willingness to work on call and travel as required
6. Ability to pass a PTS (Personal Track Safety) Medical
7. Engineering apprenticeship, qualification or similar highly desirable
8. ECS Card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) and PTS Certification would be a distinct advantage
Salary, hours and company benefits:
9. Up to £35,000 based on experience and qualifications, plus overtime and on-call allowance
10. 37.5 hours a week, 7.45am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 12.15pm Fridays plus on call approx. once a month as part of a rota
