About The Role
Are you passionate about turning innovative ideas into real-world manufacturing excellence? This role is for a technical leader of all Inspection and verification processes in the business, which includes (but are not limited to) manual gauging, Coordinate Measurement Machines, Non-Destructive Testing, etc. The role is part of the Global Manufacturing Innovation (MI) organization and will be reporting to the Global Director of Manufacturing Innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Subject Matter Expertise – Go-to expert for all technical aspects of Inspection processes across all sites, approving process changes, ensuring compliance.
* Process Standardization & Optimization – Drive global process excellence, communicate and adopt improvements across manufacturing sites, support audits.
* Support, Collaboration & Governance – Provide technical support and governance on initiatives, resolve challenges.
* Technology Ownership – Own technology strategy and roadmap for manufacturing process.
* Capability Building – Work with business to ensure investments, infrastructure, talent.
* New Initiatives – Support development of new program charters and initiatives.
* Data & Metrics Reporting – Collect, analyze, report metrics related to process.
* Experience, skills & proficiencies required – Qualification or Equivalent Experience in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Production, Operations Management.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Passionate about leading significant change initiatives.
* Strong customer relationship management.
* Proven business experience in regulated manufacturing environment, programme delivery and/or people management.
* Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and innovation ecosystems desirable.
