Delivering a variety of projects in many differing sectors — from civils and forestry roads, earthmoving projects, allotment & cemetery new build & extensions, country parks pathway resurfacing, SuDS schemes, pond desilting, and environmental/ecological jobs.

The Role
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for pricing & winning contracts from tender portals & enquiries through our website & social media. To organising materials and our workforce to complete the project in a safe & timely manner, always ensuring the client is happy before the project is handed over.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Creating estimates, completing tenders and PQQs
· Working with new & existing clients
· Managing live contracts, planning and delivering the construction phase
· Producing RAMS, and Construction Phase Plans
· Undertaking surveys and reading/creating CAD drawings
· Allocating staff, machinery and subcontractors
· Ordering materials and equipment
· Invoicing completed works
· Getting involved in operations meetings and site logistics to ensure all projects run smoothly
· Organising the yard, unloading deliveries and even the occasional material deliveries to site
· Working with our Workshop to ensure machinery is available when needed
Health & Safety
· Conduct internal H&S audits on your projects and within the yard/workshop
· Manage day-to-day staff issues and disciplinary matters
· Support training and certification (CPCS, CSCS, SMSTS, CPC etc.)
About you
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Have experience running contracts/projects in civils, construction, or environmental sectors
Have up to date knowledge on H&S requirements & laws
Can manage people, projects and problems
Have GPS/CAD experience (desired, not essential)
Knowledge of Accreditations would be an advantage
Are organised, practical and happy to work together in the team
