Job Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at NSS, part of the PTSG Group. You’ll play a key role in delivering professional HR support across the business, with a strong focus on TUPE transfers and employee relations. You’ll also support our apprenticeship and work experience schemes, helping to shape the future of our workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Advise managers and employees on HR matters such as development, performance, employee relations, and compliance.
2. Support disciplinary, grievance and attendance management processes.
3. Support and lead on the TUPE processes, ensuring smooth and compliant transfers
4. Monitor workforce trends like turnover, absence, and culture, and act on issues promptly.
5. Assist with reward benchmarking and communicate reward initiatives.
6. Maintain and develop HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
7. Produce and analyse monthly HR reports covering headcount, turnover, absence, and recruitment.
8. Build strong relationships with managers, coaching them to lead and develop their teams effectively.
9. Support apprenticeship and work experience schemes, working with schools and local partners.
10. Participate in HR projects, training design, and process improvements.
11. Stay up to date with HR best practices and legal changes

What We’re Looking For:
12. Proven TUPE experience (essential).
13. Strong generalist HR background (CIPD qualified or working towards it).
14. Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
15. Confident in handling employee relations and advising managers.
16. Proactive, solutions-focused, and great at building relationships.
