Job Overview
Position: Static Physiotherapist – Parkside Suite, Frimley (BAND 6, 1 year fixed term contract).
Unit: 26 ensuite rooms providing high standard care to private and NHS amenity patients. Profits are returned to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Duties
* Experience a comprehensive and varied caseload including orthopaedic, surgical, medical and day‑case paediatric patients.
* Links to experienced clinicians across the NHS physiotherapy teams.
* Work autonomously and within the team with shared responsibility for the physiotherapy service across the unit.
* Work with both NHS (amenity) and private patients.
* Friendly, supportive and professional team with a dedicated MDT including a doctor’s presence on the ward across weekdays.
* Participate in the delivery of the weekend service.
Qualifications
* HCPC Registration.
* Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
* Evidence of relevant CPD.
Desirable Qualifications
* Member of a relevant clinical interest group.
* Clinical educator training.
* Evidence of managerial training.
Experience
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of best clinical practice in relevant speciality.
* Completion of Band 5 rotations – General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgical/ICU, Elderly Care, Neuro, Outpatients.
* Training and supervision to support all physiotherapy staff and students.
Desirable Experience
* Experience in development of a project or service.
* Experience of research and audit.
