Salary: Starting at £47,241, with potential for more based on your experience.
Your Mission:
As a Principal Process Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and compliance within our operations. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Conducting DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activities.
* Mentoring and developing the next generation of engineers.
* Reviewing and crafting explosion safety strategies.
* Peer reviewing engineering work to ensure excellence.
* Performing comprehensive risk analysis.
* Developing and producing essential processes and policy documentation for the site.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Experience in an explosion safety engineering environment, applying various hazard analysis methods.
* Proven ability in DSEAR risk assessment production, including hazard identification and analysis (preferably from a high hazard industry).
* A solid understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and a track record of implementing business processes to meet strategic objectives.
Desirable:
* A degree in a STEM discipline.
* Experience with COMAH – Control of Major Accident Hazards (Safety Case support).
* Background in Site Asset Protection and Fire Safety Engineering.
