One of Clients, a successful food manufacturing company is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a 4 on 4 off rotating Days & Nights shift pattern.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll work alongside two other Engineers on shift to ensure safety compliance, effective workload prioritisation, and consistently high production standards. You’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving processes, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities:
* Lead, guide and mentor your shift team to achieve operational excellence
* Deliver effective maintenance to ensure consistent, high-quality production
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime
* Monitor processes and equipment, reporting variances and taking corrective action
* Respond swiftly to unplanned breakdowns and maintenance events
* Support engineering projects, installations, and equipment modifications
Experience and skills required:
* Qualified electrical engineer with City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3
* Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical expertise (electrical bias preferred)
* Apprenticeship trained (ideally)
* Proactive problem-solver who supports production and continuous improvement
* Experience in food manufacturing would be advantageous
