Essential Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to leaders and employees with specific focus on employee and union relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations.
* Serve as the first point of contact for people leaders on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns with HR specialists and navigates employees and managers to HR services as appropriate.
* Partner with other HR Business Partners and Centre of Excellence professionals to execute business‑specific HR strategies.
* Advise leaders to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices that promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
* Identify, report, investigate and resolve all employee relations issues.
* Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance.
* Coach and mentor other HR team members to support their growth and development.
* Drive continuous improvement using lean methodologies and other initiatives to enhance HR processes.
* Lead site‑wide HR projects, collaborating across multiple client groups to deliver impactful results.
* Develop positive relationships with Trade Union leadership and work collaboratively to solve problems and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Degree from an accredited university or equivalent proven experience.
