Your responsibilities are …
* Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts.
* Deliver the expected revenue against the budget.
* Work alongside the area sales team to develop new business.
* This is an external sales position focusing roughly 70% on account management and 30% on new business development.
* Cross-sell the full range of our client’s products.
* Cover main channels to market: OEM, End User, and Distributors.
* Seek out, understand, and report industry trends and movements to management.
* Implement an “Industry Segment Approach” to help our client achieve its position in key industry segments.
* Manage key regional accounts.
* Engage in application engineering to strengthen the company's position in specific applications.
* Ensure CRM and pipeline management tools are used and updated regularly.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Person Specification
Essential Attributes
* Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
* Possess a current driving license.
* Possess a current passport.
* Resident in the territory (close proximity may be considered).
Desirable Attributes
* Degree or engineering qualification.
Experience
* Experience in providing proactive customer service within industrial environments.
* Report writing experience.
* Previous selling experience.
* Knowledge of the client’s industry.
