Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist - Mindplace (Face to Face)
Join Bupa as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist in our Mindplace services. This is a permanent, part‑time position with a minimum of 4 sessions/2 days per week.

Session Availability
* Monday to Friday – 07:30/08:00 to 15:30/16:00 and 14:00 to 22:00
* Weekends – 08:30 to 17:00 (at least one weekend session every three weeks, may vary by location)
Your Role
* Provide high‑quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
* Deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence‑based interventions, ensuring appropriate pathways of care.
* Offer face‑to‑face, telephone or video consultations based on client preference.
* Apply Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the wider therapy team.
* Operate within session limits determined by clients’ private medical insurance while working to therapeutic goals.
* Signpost or refer clients as required.
* Provide ad‑hoc wellbeing support, coaching, assessments and referral recommendations.
* Lead group psycho‑education sessions, workshops and training.
* Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
* Attend regular clinical supervision, individually and in groups, in line with BUPA and professional bodies.
* Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to improve client and employee experiences.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Post‑Graduate Diploma in CBT (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
* Full accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering high‑intensity CBT interventions to working‑age clients.
Desirable
* Additional specialised training/accreditation (e.g., EMDR).
* Corporate experience and business understanding.
* Leadership and management skills.

* General adult mental health specialism experience.
* Proficiency with Microsoft systems and electronic medical records.
* Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workload under demanding time pressures.
* Customer‑service and client liaison experience.
* Excellent application of clinical knowledge.
* Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
* Highly motivated, proactive and self‑sufficient.
* Rapid, decisive decision‑making.
* Team player with problem‑solving capability.
* Experience managing independent caseloads and meeting targets.
