Role Overview


We seek a visionary Head of Brand Marketing to lead our creative and content teams while overseeing PR, events, collaborations, influencer partnerships, and brand storytelling. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach - someone who thrives in both ideation and execution, ensuring our brand voice resonates authentically across all touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with the Brand & eCommerce Director to shape strategy and drive results, acting as a steward of our brand’s aesthetic and ethos.


Key Responsibilities


Brand Leadership & Strategy

* Develop and execute brand campaigns that elevate our legacy while engaging modern audiences.
* Partner with the CMO to refine brand strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and family values.

Creative Execution & Storytelling

* Oversee campaign ideation, from concept to delivery, ensuring storytelling reflects our heritage and craftsmanship.
* Guide content creation (digital, print, video) with a keen eye for design, tone, and brand consistency.

Partnerships & Collaborations

* Spearhead PR strategies and events that position David Austin Roses as a leader in luxury horticulture.

Operational Excellence

* Manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs for brand initiatives, reporting progress to the CMO.
* Work alongside the Head of E-commerce and Digital Marketing to ensure seamless integration of brand and commercial objectives.

What We’re Looking For


Experience: 5+ years in brand management, preferably in luxury, lifestyle, or horticulture.
Creative Visionary: Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and campaigns with a portfolio showcasing aesthetic precision.

Collaborative Leader: A hands-on mentor who inspires teams while valuing input from the CMO and cross-department peers.
Brand Ambassador: Deep appreciation for craftsmanship, gardens, and storytelling; alignment with our brand’s elegance and heritage.
Execution Skills: Willingness to “get your hands dirty” in day-to-day tasks while driving long-term strategy.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, from family members to global partners.
