Job Description
The Finance Director will:
3. Lead all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting.
4. Drive M&A activity: evaluate targets, build financial models, support negotiations, and lead due diligence and integration.
5. Develop scalable systems, controls, and processes to support growth.
6. Manage banking, funding, and investor relationships.
7. Provide commercial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Director should have:
8. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5-10 years post-qualification experience.
9. Proven experience in M&A, either from a Corporate Finance/Transaction Services background or within a PE-backed/acquisitive SME.
10. Commercially sharp with strong modelling, analytical, and negotiation skills.
11. Entrepreneurial mindset, excited by building something significant.
12. Collaborative team player, able to work closely with senior leadership and investors.
