Position Overview
Facility: Wellness Center 49th & Oxbow
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Shift: 10 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full-time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary Range: $32.00 - $49.50
Pay Info: Sign-on bonus available!
Your Role
* Exercise professional judgment in all procedures and interactions.
* Initiate life support measures when necessary.
* Engage effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams.
* Administer contrast material and document patient histories accurately.
* Utilize electronic medical record software for scheduling and billing.
* Develop a deep understanding of patients' physical and emotional needs.
* Work with patients of all ages, ensuring a compassionate experience.
As part of the Sanford Rural Health Network, your responsibilities may expand to include:
* On-call rotations during nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Performing diagnostic radiology procedures and basic tasks.
* Mobile imaging, EKGs, cardiac monitor placements, and DEXA procedures.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A formal Radiologic Technology training from an AMA or JRCERT approved school.
* Preferred MRI training or experience.
* ARRT or ARMRIT certification at the time of hire.
* MRI certification (or the ability to obtain it within two years) as per DICOE and ACR requirements.
* Licensure through the ND Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board if working in North Dakota.
* A permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health if working in Iowa.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment.
