Job Details
We are looking for general cleaners to join our teams in schools within the Glenrothes area. Permanent vacancies in schools cover as required on a backshift Monday to Friday between 3:00pm to 7:30pm, on a 40-week contract as required.
* Glenwood High School – 2 posts, 20 hours per week, 40-week term time contract, working back shift 3:30pm to 7:30pm.
* Glenrothes High School – 1 post, 20 hours per week, 40-week term time contract, working back shift 3:30pm to 7:30pm.

* We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
* Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).

Responsibilities
Ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. Upon starting, you will work towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
Person Profile
No previous experience is required as on-the-job training is given.
Before confirming your appointment, you must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
