Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. Our new joinee will be dealing mainly in vacant residential dwellings, undertaking full or partial rewires; you will also have maintenance work in tenanted properties in both commercial and residential.
The Ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or defects.
* Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
Skills
* Proficient in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints accurately.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
* Previous experience as an Electrician or relevant qualifications are preferred.
