Autonomous Systems Engineer — Urgent Need: ArduPilot / GPS-Denied Navigation Engineers
A heavily funded defence tech start-up that has just emerged from stealth has seen rapid success off the back of their passion to support Ukraine. They are set to have a huge impact on NATO Defence and are building autonomous systems designed to operate in GPS-denied environments. The team is solving extremely difficult navigation problems where GNSS is not reliable, with data from the front line driving constant iterations and technology changes. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of autonomous systems that operate in GPS-denied environments.
* Work on real-world platforms already deployed and help solve navigation problems where GNSS is unreliable.
* Iterate rapidly based on frontline data and evolving requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience with ArduPilot
* Experience with GPS-denied / GNSS-denied navigation
* Experience with sensor fusion across multiple payloads (no specific stack)
Location
Based out of London.
