Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a confident, experienced and talented Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Quality to join the Trust Board.
This role is critical to the vision for health care that the Trust recently set out in its new five-year strategy and, for the right person, is a huge opportunity with huge potential to make an impact and a difference to colleagues, partners and local people living across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
Providing highly visible professional leadership and direction for colleagues is a critical part of this role. We’re looking for someone who will work closely with medical, operational and corporate colleagues to inspire improvements that make a real difference to our patients and their families. In addition, as a key part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System, you’ll need to actively build relationships and collaborate openly with colleagues across the Integrated Care Board, the Provider Collaborative and the area’s five providers.
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals is a challenged provider on a defined improvement journey and the expectations on this Executive Director will be significant, but regulators have consistently recognised colleagues in both hospital and community services for ‘caring’ and you’ll inherit a great team of people who will help every step of the way.
