What You’ll Be Doing: * Carrying out precise inspections on a variety of aerospace components. * Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings to verify tight tolerances. * Using a mix of manual tools and advanced CMM equipment to measure parts. * Working closely with production and quality teams to solve problems quickly and effectively. Equipment You’ll Use: You’ll have access to a full suite of industry-leading metrology tools, including: * Verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges * Faro Arm & Keyence image measurement system * Keyence portable CMM (video and probe) * Fixed and portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) What You’ll Bring * A very good baseline understanding of engineering drawings – essential for this role. * Proven experience in quality or dimensional inspection within a manufacturing/engineering setting. * Hands-on experience with a range of inspection tools. * A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving approach. * Ability to work collaboratively in a busy manufacturing environment.
