Role Overview
We’re looking for a Google Ads Account Manager with a proven track record in e-commerce. You’ll manage day-to-day performance across multiple accounts, optimise campaigns for ROAS, and communicate insights clearly to clients and our internal team. This role begins on a contractor basis, with a clear path to full-time employment for the right person.
Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of client ad accounts (e-commerce focus)
* Build, optimise, and scale Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns
* Craft data‑driven ad copy and experiment with creative tests
* Ensure accurate conversion tracking via GTM + GA4
* Report on performance trends and deliver actionable insights
* Maintain client communication with professionalism and transparency
* Collaborate with the founder and senior strategist to refine account strategy and SOPs
Requirements
* 2+ years managing Google Ads accounts (agency or in‑house)
* Proven experience managing e-commerce budgets of £15k+/month
* Strong command of campaign structure, bidding, audiences, and measurement
* Confident setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
* Bonus: Experience with Looker Studio, Slack, and Teamwork
