About The Role of General Manager
You will take responsibility for managing the Restaurant and Gift Shop
As General Manager, you will be accountable for:
· Maintaining high levels of service, balanced with efficient cost control, all within company guidelines.
· Ensuring the operation is always compliant with all statutory requirements e.g. health & safety, food hygiene.
· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
· Providing training and inductions for staff, including proper customer service practices
· Controlling stock and waste management for designated department
· Staff rotas and holiday management to ensure that there is sufficient cover at all times
· Tracking and analysing sales data and keeping appropriate records
· Managing and developing staff performance
About You

· Have proven capability as a strong effective leader as well as being able to meet and exceed targets.
· Be self-motivated and have good people skills.
· Be an inspirational, individual who champions customer experience, and is innovative, and commercially aware.

Previous experience in a similar catering role, and holding a relevant food safety qualification is required.
This role attracts a competitive salary dependant on experience.
