Responsibilities
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
* Creating and modifying CNC programs from engineering drawings
* Setting up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces with precision
* Monitoring machining operations to ensure quality and tight tolerances
* Conducting first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM
Experience / Qualifications
* Proven CNC milling experience within the aerospace or defence sectors
* Proficiency with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and CAD/CAM software (e.g. Fusion 360, EdgeCAM)
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
* A methodical, problem-solving approach and commitment to continuous improvement
