Home Manager - Dementia Care Service
Porthcawl | Residential Care | £45,000 per annum (approx.)
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a well-established residential dementia care service in the Porthcawl area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in dementia care and residential services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the residential home
* Delivering high-quality, person-centred care for residents with dementia
* Leading, supporting, and developing care staff to maintain a positive and effective team culture
* Ensuring full compliance with CIW regulations and internal policies
* Managing budgets, staffing levels, and rota planning
* Building positive relationships with families, staff, external agencies, and professionals
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a dementia-focused residential care setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* In-depth knowledge of dementia care and residential care standards
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
