The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
This post is base in East Quadrant (North/East area of the Board) We are looking for an experienced MSK physiotherapist to work in acute hospital and various community based sites within the East quadrant, MSK physiotherapy department as part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde MSK Physiotherapy Service. You will take day to day responsibility for a specialised musculoskeletal clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from physiotherapy care. You will use clinical reasoning skills to assess, analyse and interpret both clinical and non-clinical information and provide a comprehensive clinical diagnosis for individual patients, to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention. This includes patients with complex presentations. You will play a significant role in the education and development of Physiotherapy staff and students within the MSK service and actively involved in research/ audit locally and within the organisation and provide an expert resource to other health care staff/ patients/carers. You should have substantial post graduate experience with relevant experience within MSK speciality. It is essential that you have a Degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
