Job Title: Chargehand - Food Manufacturing

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 48
Shift Timings: Saturday to Thursday; 22:00 to 07:00 (6 nights)
Location: Pladis, Waxlow Road, Harlesden, London, Greater London, England NW10 7NY
Manage operations
1. Compliance – ensure all daily, weekly and periodic sign off sheets are completed and stored in line with client requirements
2. Walk round entire site daily to check on operations
3. Ensure QHSE compliance site wide, working closely with regional team
4. Handle product contamination issues, glass breakages or pest activity
5. Deal with customer complaints or concerns
6. Observe all client and company statutory fire and safety regulations and promote good safety habits. Follow the Mitie Livesafe principles
7. Manage the hygiene tasks scheduled on a daily basis
8. Cover staff when they call in absent/holiday
What we are looking for
9. Good communication skills
10. Someone to work with the existing team and be a point of escalation
11. Previous cleaning experience within a food manufacturing environment
12. To be able to work with the client staff to help resolves any adhoc works
13. Use initiative and work to a high standard of work.
14. Report to supervisors and contract manager
