The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV1) Drivers for our client based in Team Valley, Gateshead. The Role:
* Trunk runs to Coventry
* Working Monday to Friday
* Start time between 21:00 and 21:45
* Carrying out collections and deliveries as required
* Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and delivered on time
* Performing vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards
* Communicating effectively with the transport team

The Candidate:
* Must hold a valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
* Minimum of 6 months' Class 1 HGV driving experience
* Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
* Good communication and customer service skills

* Monday to Friday nights
* Start time: Between 21:00 and 21:45
* Ongoing work with consistent weekly hours

Pay Rates:
* £16.00 per hour (Monday-Sunday)
* £16.50 per hour after 40 hours
* £16.50 per hour (Monday-Sunday) after 12 weeks
* £20.50 overtime rate after 12 weeks
* £32.50 bank holiday rate after 12 weeks
