Role and Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
* Provide targeted assistance with phonics schemes, ensuring all students develop strong foundational reading skills.
* Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
* Work closely with teachers to identify and address the individual needs of students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a KS1 Teaching Assistant with a solid understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum.
* Strong knowledge of phonics schemes and strategies for teaching early reading skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education support.
