In short, your role withinJungheinrichwill play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics.


The Role

* Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK, working at our national workshop in Warrington.


Role Responsibilities

* Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
* Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
* Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
* Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
* Carrying out repair assessments.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.


Person Requirements

* We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex forces military vehicle engineers.
* Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience
* Methodical approach to diagnostics
* Product knowledge (JH or similar)
* Able to work unsupervised
* Good team worker with a can do attitude
* Able to work to deadlines
* Improvement mentality
