As part of our IT Support team, this position will be a front-line role, dealing directly with internal customers from across the group who have IT application issues. At Radius, we use a variety of commercial off the shelf applications in different departments, including Sage, Salesforce, and SAP Business One. As one of our Application Support analysts you will be involved in support, maintenance and upgrades relating to our suite of applications. The role is based from our head office office site in Crewe, Cheshire. Your Responsibilities Day To Day Will Be… Carry out support and maintenance of the Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications in use across the group including Financial, HR and other departmental specific applications. Carry out software installations and upgrades. Carry out ad-hoc IT application support tasks as and when required with some after-hours work when necessary. Work with business unit leads and IT management to define application support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. Proactively research and recommend courses of action to prevent problems and to maintain high application support service levels for our internal customers. Undertake thorough impact analysis of all assigned application support activities and understand the impact of your work on the group’s IT systems and the business. Qualifications Good level of IT Support knowledge gained in a professional services/project organisation and/or technical environment. Experience of practical troubleshooting within a Windows environment and dealing with users direct and/or by telephone. Proven experience of the following technologies: Windows 11 Microsoft Office Active Directory Knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following applications: Sage 50 Sage 200 Sage X3 Salesforce SAP Business One Oracle NetSuite Jira Software and Jira Service Management Knowledge of IT Security fundamentals. Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting skills. Eager to learn and passionate about IT support with the desire to succeed in a rapidly changing environment. Experience working within an environment that recognises and adopts ITIL best practice. Experience in customer service and/or administrative excellence in an IT or business environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Service Desk ticketing systems such as Jira.
