We’re a respected engineering firm specialising in bespoke pressure vessels for global offshore, water, and nuclear industries. Part of a dynamic portfolio of engineering businesses, we’re continuing to grow - and we’re on the lookout for a Manufacturing Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team in Tamworth.
About The Role
As Manufacturing Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with the Projects, Manufacturing, and Quality teams - helping to manage materials, coordinate production schedules, and support shipping and logistics.
This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and is comfortable juggling multiple tasks while keeping an eye on the finer details.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Coordinate and issue production paperwork following standard procedures
Maintain and update production schedules in coordination with Project Managers
Raise and manage Purchase Orders, and chase suppliers/sub-contractors as needed
Support stock control and ensure materials are correctly issued to jobs
Arrange transport for materials and completed contracts, including shipping
Produce component nameplates using specialist equipment
Assist with quality documentation and provide cover for Goods Inwards
Support various teams with key admin tasks to keep projects on track
What We’re Looking For:
Proven organisational, planning, and communication skills
High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Strong IT skills - especially Excel and Microsoft Office
Experience In a Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment Preferred
Knowledge of logistics and production operations (especially welding) is a bonus

Hours:
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Based at our facility in Tamworth
Flexibility with working hours may be considered for the right candidate
