We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Practitioner to join our team, working with children aged 0–2 years. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive, reflective team who understand the importance of attachment, consistency and responsive care in the earliest years.
About the Role
* Provide warm, responsive care to babies, supporting their emotional security and wellbeing
* Follow individual routines for sleep, feeding and care, working closely with families
* Support early communication, sensory exploration and physical development
* Create a calm, engaging environment both indoors and outdoors
* Observe, assess and track children’s development in line with EYFS
* Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency of care
* Contribute to inclusive practice and support children’s individual needs
* Maintain accurate and meaningful records
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3 essential)
* Has experience working with babies or under 2s
* Understands the importance of attachment, key person approach and responsive caregiving
* Is patient, nurturing and attentive to children’s individual needs
* Values outdoor experiences for even the youngest children
* Is reflective, proactive and committed to high-quality practice
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills with both children and adults
* Is committed to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of care
