I am excited to partner with a leading brand who have a vacancy for a Shift Electrical Engineer in their beautiful rural location of Bala, Gwynedd. The successful Shift Electrical Engineer will work as part of a team and will be responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance on site. Ex-military engineers with a multi-skilled background are encouraged to apply. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex-military engineer to join a long established family run growing company. Shift Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: * Carry out the planned preventative maintenance of the engineering plant, machinery and building. * Attend breakdowns and carry out fault finding and diagnostics ensuring equipment is in working order. * Carry out repairs to plant and equipment during production, machines include conveyors, mixers and depositors. * Conduct improvement work on the machinery and site. Shift Electrical Engineer Requirements: * Hold Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. * Ideally you will hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. * IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance management systems. * Ability to understand mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams. * Team player with the ability to work independently. Shift Electrical Engineer Benefits: * The salary is £46,000 per annum. * Rotational 8-week shift pattern consisting of days and nights, 4 on 4 off. * Overtime payable. * 24 days holiday per annum. * Company pension scheme. * Free onsite parking, free tea and coffee. * £200 joining bonus paid at the 13 week and 26-week point. * Subsidised gym, swimming pool and fitness classes.
