Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Salary: Circa GBP50,000 + per annum with an extensive benefits package
Shifts: Monday : Friday, 8:00 AM : 4:30 PM (plus a 1 in 6 on:call rotation)

The Role and Candidate
Were looking for a collaborative, proactive engineer with extensive experience in a fast:paced FMCG environment. The role is focused on planned maintenance and system improvements, not just reactive breakdowns. Youll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of equipment, including PLCs, three:phase motors, and controls. You must be forward:thinking, a great team player, and have a positive, can:do attitude.
Requirements
* Significant Experience: Several years in an FMCG or food production environment.
* Formal Qualification: Completed an on:site apprenticeship or hold a Level 3 NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent.
* Electrical Expertise: Proficient in electrical troubleshooting with automated systems and holds a 17th or 18th Edition certification (or equivalent electrical ability).
* Fault:Finding: Highly competent in repairing a wide range of production equipment.
