Pharmacy Technician \n\n£30,000 DOE \n\nPermanent \n\nNottingham \n\n30 Hours per week (x4 days) Monday - Sunday Flexible\n\nWe're looking for a motivated and detail-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our clients innovative and forward-thinking pharmacy team. This non-patient-facing role is central to driving medicines optimisation, quality improvement, and education support within urgent primary care services.\n\nWorking alongside the Lead Clinical Pharmacist and a range of multidisciplinary teams, you'll help shape and deliver safe, effective, and value-based use of medicines across their services.\n\nRole Requirements:\n\nSupporting the development and delivery of medicines optimisation initiatives\nLeading day-to-day medicines stock control and procurement\nContributing to and conducting medicine safety audits\nHelping develop protocols, SOPs, and quality improvement processes\nDelivering and supporting training and induction programmes for staff\nEnsuring compliance with MHRA, GPhC, and national guidance\nSupporting controlled drug governance, discrepancy resolution and safe disposalSkills and Experience required \n\nRegistered Pharmacy Technician (GPhC) with NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences\n2+ years' experience in a pharmacy technician role\nStrong knowledge of stock management, medicine safety, and audit processes\nConfident using IT systems and digital tools (Excel, SharePoint, SystmOne, ePACT2, PrescQIPP - a plus)\nGreat communication, organisation, and time-management skills\nExperience working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating effectively\nPassion for quality improvement, education, and medicines optimisation\nFull UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sitesBenefits include \n\n25 days holiday plus bank holiday\nNHS pension scheme securing your future\nContinuous professional development\nFlexible working arrangements to provide a great balance to your work and life\nEmployee Assistance programme\nGreat central Nottingham location \n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on medicines safety and education in a growing service, while developing your own professional knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.\n\nReady to make a difference?
