1. The successful candidate will support the definition, agreement, and implementation of a contract management playbook, guiding the Mining Remediation Authority in managing contractual and commercial relationships according to Government Standards and best practices.
2. The role will assist our Learning and Development team in defining appropriate training levels for colleagues with contract management responsibilities.
3. It will also involve developing learning pathways using the Government Contract Management Capability and Government Campus.
4. Develop and establish a cost management framework and strategy, including selecting suitable tools and resources.
5. Provide independent cost management and review processes throughout the project lifecycle, including evaluating proposals and conducting market comparisons to develop benchmark data.
6. Evaluate and approve costs in project feasibility reports, considering options, costs, benefits, and risks to influence strategic decisions.
7. Support project managers in preparing specifications, contractual requirements, pricing, and reviewing costings, ensuring compliance with contract conditions.
