Salaried GP – Part time / Garden City Surgery, Letchworth Hertfordshire
Job Summary Our Salaried GP will deliver outstanding services for the patient population at Garden City Surgery. Working as part of a team, you will support and deliver innovative primary care, develop and monitor clinical services, and proactively engage with commissioning groups. You will carry out clinical sessions with the full support of the Lead General Practitioner and Practice Manager.

Role
As a Salaried General Practitioner at Garden City Surgery you will:
* Provide clinical care to patients – clinic sessions, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and other clinical administration.
* Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set out by the GMC, putting individual patient care as your priority.
* Work with the Lead General Practitioner and Practice Manager to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan, including list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, CQC, resource profile and cost management.
* Provide colleague clinical support to Garden City Surgery's GPs, nurses and trainees.
* Work closely with the practice primary health care team in delivering clinical care.
* Actively participate in regular clinical practice meetings.
* Maintain ongoing CPD and keep up to date with required training, NHS annual appraisal, PDP, GMC revalidation.
* Document and report significant events and matters relating to clinical governance to the Lead General Practitioner and Practice Manager.
* Behave as a professional clinician and ambassador for Garden City Surgery and 12PointCare.
Post‑holders must be:
* Registered with the GMC and engaged in regular clinical work.
* Experienced doctor with GP accreditation or equivalent, holding the MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
* Knowledgeable of principles and values that support good medical practice.
* Organised with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Committed to teamwork, delivering quality and patient‑focused service, and continuous professional development.
