Your Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collating and inputting day-to-day financial data, including invoices, stock take data, purchasing, and plate count values
* Supporting the analysis of monthly stock data and ensuring accurate stock takes
* Assisting in producing timely and accurate financial reports and variance analysis
* Investigating balances and reviewing files in line with agreed procedures
* Preparing and analyzing documentation for client reporting and end-of-month processes
* Assisting in producing weekly reporting results and client billing documentation
* Ensuring all accounting entries comply with the Group Accounting Manual
* Completing accounting routines in line with timetables
* Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
About You
We’re looking for someone with the following essential skills and attributes:
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* A positive attitude and a strong team player
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver within agreed timescales
Desirable:
* Knowledge of SAP, Cognos, and BPC systems
* Previous commercial finance experience
