There is significant growth, taking on increasingly large and complex projects. The Project Sides - Power Transmissions section is expanding, and Project Officers play a crucial role as a resource for the entire business, supporting various functions and projects as demand requires. The Role: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and flexible Project Officer to provide comprehensive clerical, administrative, and business support to our teams. This role is vital in supporting (email address removed) milestones from PM005 – PM700, working across multiple functions and projects. As part of a functional team, the completion of work will span all areas, flexing between projects and functions, requiring a critical ability to adapt to often-changing requirements. This position is part of the High-Performance Series Bronze level. This is more than just an administrative role; it involves a significant amount of project-focused work, offering a diverse and reactive day-to-day experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring project teams and directors have everything they need, from ordering for sites to organising meetings, workshops, and travel at a site level. No two days will be the same. Initially, you will support two Project Officers across their projects, and as you become more comfortable and trained, your responsibilities may evolve. Key Responsibilities: * Provide clerical, administrative, and business support to various teams and functions. * Support (email address removed) milestones from PM005 – PM700 across multiple functions or projects. * Assist in site establishment and support project teams directly on projects. * Support engineering department bids and tenders. * Organize meetings, workshops, and travel arrangements at the site level. * Order necessary supplies and resources for project sites. * Ensure project teams and directors have all required resources and support. * Flexibility to work across different projects and functions as demand requires. Skills and Experience: * High levels of organisational skills, excellent planning, and self-discipline. * A positive and proactive approach to work. * Excellent attention to detail. * Ability to be agile and flexible in response to competing demands and requirements. * Minimum administrative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements. * An understanding of how projects work and the project life cycle is a plus, but not a deal-breaker. * Sector or previous industry experience is not a primary concern; strong administrative and office skills are key.
