Reporting to the Transport Team Manager, you will be responsible for general administration duties in-line with Transport legislations, company policy and procedure. This is a full time, permanent position, you will be working Wednesday to Sunday 22:00 to 06:00. Pay, benefits and more: Were looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000.00 per annum ( £5k Night shift allowance), and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What youll do on a typical day: Assisting the Transport Team Manager with general administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures Ensuring good standards of Health and Safetyprocesses are followed by yourself and the team Regular communication with the planning department of any delays / lateness / issues Primary point of contact for customer enquiries/ changes to schedule, ensuring these are logged accurately What you need to succeed at GXO: To be able to effectively communicate with customer, suppliers and colleagues Must have a flexible approach and be willing to carry out varied tasks positively, reliably and accurately An excellent team player, able to work on own initiative and make decisions A background in logistics is preferred, although full training will be given We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
