Junior Buyer – Macclesfield - £27,000 - £31,000 + 4.5 day working week
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a major precision engineering business in Macclesfield in their search of a Junior Buyer.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to develop their skills in a fast-paced procurement environment.
* 5 day working week with a 1pm finish every Friday!

Junior Buyer Duties:
* Raise and process purchase orders in accordance with procurement procedures
* Monitor stock levels and assist with the reordering process
* Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier details
* Communicate with suppliers to track orders, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely fulfilment
* Work collaboratively with internal departments (e.g. Commercial, Production, Finance) to meet procurement needs
* Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and standards
* Manage the database of site contracts, identifying contract owners and ensuring timely initiation of RFQs
Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon-Thur) 8:30am - 1pm (Fri)
Required skills & experience:
* Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
