Senior Autism Practitioner (Team Leader)

Full‑time position, 37 hours per week.
Pay Scale: £34,939 rising to £35,505 after engagement. Opportunity to progress to £37,434 at your own pace.

About the Role
As Senior Autism Practitioner you will ensure the delivery of individual services across the South West Services. You will lead a team of Autism Practitioners, coach and mentor them, and ensure a consistent, high‑quality support service to autistic people.
You will collaborate closely with families, agencies and multi‑disciplinary teams to implement and further develop support plans, and you will play an active role in the recruitment process to strengthen the team.

About You
Requirements:
* Experience in a supervisory and/or management role within social care
* Demonstrated experience supporting autistic people
* Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues
* Health and social care qualification, or willingness to obtain an SVQ Level 4 and LMC qualification (provided by the organisation)
* Good level of IT literacy, including MS Word and Excel
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and provide regular on‑call support
