We’re now looking for a Senior Developer to join our Development Team, working on our flagship permit management platform. As a Senior Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our online permit management and compliance products. We deliver monthly production releases with zero downtime using modern CI/CD pipelines. With our greenfield projects, you’ll have the opportunity to shape solutions, introduce new practices, and drive innovation. Job Description: In this role, you will: Drive the technical direction of our new greenfield permit management platform in Microsoft Azure. Contribute to the design and development of new mobile apps, including solutions to enable virtual voucher purchases. Work in a SCRUM Agile environment, delivering responsive solutions that adapt quickly to evolving customer needs. Deliver clean, scalable, and well-tested code that supports continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborate across the organisation — from Support Teams to Technical Consultants — ensuring smooth delivery and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver robust solutions using C# and .NET. Collaborate with peers to produce effective software design and architecture. Write automated tests to ensure quality and prevent regressions. Refactor and modernise existing systems where required. Maintain clear documentation throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide technical guidance to internal support and implementation teams. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a .NET Developer. Strong knowledge of C#, HTML, CSS, and design patterns (e.g. MVC). Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud deployments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment. Desirable Skills Experience with modern deployment tools (e.g. Azure DevOps). Knowledge of Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience developing and deploying mobile applications (iOS and Android). Integrating mobile apps with backend services and APIs.
