Conveyancing Assistant – Huddersfield
A strong opportunity is available for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy, well-established residential property team within a respected Huddersfield law firm. This full-time, office-based role suits someone with at least a year of practical conveyancing experience, particularly in residential sales and purchases.
The position is client-facing and ideal for a proactive, approachable and professional person who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal setting. You will support solicitors and fee earners with a high-volume caseload, managing all administrative tasks from opening files through to completion.

Key responsibilities:

1. Opening new files and entering client information into the case management system
2. Preparing initial correspondence and legal documents, including sale contracts
3. Overseeing transactions in line with internal processes and procedures
4. Ordering searches and preparing client reports
5. Supporting exchange of contracts, completions and post-completion work
