About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care, or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
