The role & what you take care of:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Gas Safe registered Plumbing and Heating Engineer, with experience to join the Magna team. From the initial job report to its completion, you will play a key part in delivering works to a high standard, whilst meeting our customers’ needs and complying with current legislation. The role encompasses a diverse and rewarding working routine with great benefits, a company van, uniform and all trade relevant power tools supplied.
* The purpose of this role is to carry out central heating works including installation and servicing, to diagnose faults and resolve heating/plumbing related problems to a high standard.
* You will be required to be on call once every 6 weeks, for which you will receive a generous standby allowance.

What you need to be successful:
* Together with a high level of fault-finding ability & diagnostic skills, you will feel comfortable working independently or as part of a team, committed to overcoming any scenarios that may arise on a daily basis.
* Ideally experience of Social Housing or working in a similar environment would be advantageous, although alternative sectors will be considered.
* Understanding how to use a mobile iPad device together with a geographical knowledge of the Dorset & South Somerset area would be preferential.
This post is subject to a basic level Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. A full driving licence is essential.
